Powered Hang Gliding Aircraft

The Revo by Evolution Trikes
Our brand new state-of-the-art 100 horsepower SLSA (Special Light Sport Aircraft) was added to the fleet in April 2010. The Revo is one of the best weight-shift-control aircraft (trike) on the market for comfort, flight performance and airplane-like handling and stability. This aircraft offers great responsiveness throughout a range of speed with feather light control input and effortless cruise up to 100 mph. We particularly like the extremely fast topless Reflex 11 wing, its cockpit heating capability, and its roomy and comfortable back seat.

Airborne XT912-SST Tundra
Both of our 2010 Tundras have 80 horsepower Rotax 912 engines and sport the more aerodynamic SST wing (look ma, no top rigging wires). This SST is the first topless strutted wing designed for Airborne trikes. Our first Tundra was purchased at the Sun & Fun Air Show in Lakeland, FL in April 2009. Gerry test flew it from Key West to California a distance of 4300 miles which took 21 flying days. Once on the west coast the aircraft was shipped to Kauai. These Tundras can cruise up to 100 mph. Our second 2010 Tundra went into service in March 2010. We particularly like this aircraft for its “beefier” base design that allows for a huge range of landing options.

Airborne 912XT Tourer
Our “oldest” aircraft began flying in July 2009. The Streak 3 wing is the fastest of the top-rigged wings from Airborne. With the Rotax 912 engine, this trike goes head to head with our other three trikes. The exceptional reliable Rotax engine is the flagship engine of the industry and powers our entire fleet of aircraft.
